How to Create A Portable App Using Winrar

First of all let me tell you what is a portable application. Well it is a application designed to run on a compatible computer without installing it. Portable applications can be stored in USB drives or floppy disks and can run on the PC. That is too much information. Well lets get started

Things You Will Need

• A software or game I will be using Audacity in my tutorial. But other applications will also work fine.
• Winrar.

Note: Click On the name of the Program to Download it.

Steps:

Step-1

After Installing the software right click on it and choose "Open File Location"

Step-2

Copy all the items except uninstall in the folder to a new folder.

Step-3

Select all the items in the folder you created and right click and select Add to Archive.

Step-4

 Tick create SFX archive, Select Zip or Rar as archive format, set compression method to Best.

Step-5

 Go to Advanced, select SFX Options,in Run After Extraction Type the .exe File name that you want to run in my case it is "audacity.exe"

Step-6

Goto Modes, Select Unpack to Temporary Folder and Hide all.

Step-7

Press OK, Press OK, Wait till compression finishes.

Step-8

Copy it to a USB drive,Floppy Disk,And ENJOY!!!
